Operationalizing Article 6 of the Paris Agreement

While the workshop covered a broad spectrum of topics, two issues stood out in particular: the need to foster the debate on operationalizing Article 6 at member country level and the question how to connect private sector initiatives under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and voluntary carbon markets with the countries’ national aspirations under the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
