GCF Board approves CFI-supported project application in Senegal : Launch of ASER Solar Rural Electrification Project!

The CFI project successfully supported BOAD (Banque Ouest Africaine de Développement) in developing a project proposal on the use of solar mini-grids in Senegal, which has recently been approved by the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The project receives USD 89 Mio of GCF funds and is expected to contribute to emission reductions of 1.1 MtCO2 in total.
